My name is Casonia Smith-King. I am a Independent Distributor for Mia Bella’s Candles. That’s me with Scent-Sations, Inc./Mia Bella’s Candles CEO, Bob Scocozzo at an annual event in 2022. Mia Bella’s Candles allows me to have a home candle business as a independent distributor. My small business does direct sales of Mia Bella’s Candles home fragrance products through retail, wholesale, fundraising, personalized photo candles, promotional gifts, custom label candles and introducing others to the home business opportunity.

About Mia Bella's Candles
Mia Bella’s scented candles and wax melts are manufactured right here in the USA by Scent-Sations, Inc. Scent-Sations is a Direct Sales company that has been in business for more than 20 years. Scent-Sations was founded by Robert Scocozzo and Charles Umphred. Bob and Charlie started Scent-Sations to make a difference through fundraising with a great candle product. Today, in addition to catalog and custom candle fundraisers, Scent-Sations has candles for causes like Breast Cancer Awareness, and Suicide Prevention Month.
You can also take advantage of our simple catalog fundraiser or custom candle fundraiser. With the catalog or custom candle fundraiser, you earn $8 per candle sold by your group or organization. I am happy to help you with your specific fundraising needs, just call or email me.
If you are already familiar with Mia Bella’s candles, then you know they were originally made using Soy Wax. Now Mia Bella’s Candles are made from a Palm wax blend. This Palm wax blend is proprietary and allows Mia Bella’s candles to have the same strong fragrance from your first burn to your last burn. It also allows for the use of 100% Cotton wicks.
It was and is very important to Bob and Charlie that harvesting the Palm wax did not hurt the trees, so the Palm wax used by Scent-Sations is from sustainable plantations in Malaysia and does not hurt the Palm trees when harvested.

About the Wicks in Mia Bella Candles
The wicks in Mia Bella’s candles are made from 100% Cotton and they are core free, so there’s no Zinc in them!
The Mia Bella’s 8 oz jars and 16oz jars use 2 Cotton wicks and the 20oz jars use 3 Cotton wicks.
Although the Cotton wicks are considered to be self trimming, it is recommended that you trim the wicks to between 1/8 and 1/4 inch at all times to extend the burn time since longer wicks tend to burn at a faster rate.
Wicks in Mia Bella Candles Have Safety Collars
Each wick in a Mia Bella’s candle has a safety collar. The intention of the safety collar is to automatically extinguish the flame and prevent the bottom 1/2″ of the wax from burning. This is a critical safety precaution and a standard in the candle industry to prevent the glass jar from over heating and shattering.
